The South Coast and New Forest
The South Coast offers some of the most stunning coastline in England, from the stunning white cliffs of Dover to the peaceful coves of Cornwall.
For your South Coast break we can offer the Shah of Persia, located on the edges of the town centre of Poole. With its stunning harbour and 3 miles of Blue Flag awarded beaches including the world famous Sandbanks, Poole is one of the most desirable seaside resorts in the UK.
A few miles inland towards the New Forest, we have accommodation at the Junction in Dorchester. Stay in our comfortable bedrooms, and enjoy the sites of the historic town, from the Roman Amphitheatre at Maumbury Rings to the birthplace of Thomas Hardy. Close to the New Forest and the Dorset countryside, you are perfectly placed to get away from it all without compromising on convenience.
The New Forest is a designated national park, and the countryside has changed little since William the Conqueror protected the land over 900 years ago! The forest is home to local wildlife, including the indigenous New Forest Ponies and it is not unusual to have to stop the car to allow a herd of deer across the road. On the outskirts of the New Forest is the market town of Ringwood, offering accommodation in the town centre at the Original White Hart. The town itself dates back to 1226 and is suitably located for access to all the activities and events in the New Forest. Further into the area, the Rose and Crown at the entrance to Brockenhurst has 14 rooms and a large outdoor area, ideal for exploring the wildlife and nature of the Forest.
