Pub Food
The heart and soul of our hotel experience is the pub itself and you can be assured of a warm welcome in whichever of our pubs you choose to stay in. We pride ourselves on our traditional approach to inn keeping, the quality of our food and drink and our consistently friendly and accommodating service.
Each of our pubs has a different food offer which is suited to the location and the type of establishment. Further details can be found on each individual pub page and a summary of our concepts is provided below.
Of course, your breakfast with us is complimentary and we like to ensure our guests are set up for the day. You can choose from our selection of Kellogg’s breakfast cereals, croissants, yoghurts and fruit and create your own breakfast from our cooked options, from poached eggs on toast to a full, traditional breakfast made with tasty Lincolnshire sausages.
Quality Dining
Whilst you can always be assured of a quality pub meal at any of our inns, some of our establishments offer a more formal dining experience. In these inns you will find a range of freshly prepared seasonal dishes designed by our chefs in house.
Town Centre
If you are looking for a livelier hotel experience, you won’t get any closer to the action than in one of our town centre hotels. The contemporary food choices include tapas and sharing plates, a delicious range of sandwiches and light snacks as well as heartier meals which can be enjoyed in the modern surroundings of a town centre location.
Our Pubs
Many of our Inns follow their own distinctive style of food particularly suited to the location and the style of the pub. All of ‘our pubs’ will offer food all day, from snacks and sandwiches to quality pub meals.
HJ Wellfed
HJ Wellfed offers you great value, traditional food, in hearty portions. Our friendly staff and cosy, traditional surroundings ensure you will have a warm pub experience.
Tavern Table
Our Tavern Table pubs offer comfortable surroundings and a warm welcome. We offer freshly prepared pub classics, including our signature steak and ale pie and beer battered fish and chips made with Marston’s Pedigree.
Two For One
Our Two for One concept offers traditional dining with a simple, value for money offer. When two adults each order any main course, we will give you the lower priced meal free of charge.
