The pub plays its part in history and the highwayman Dick Turpin frequented the establishment before his capture. The Green Dragon has 11 en-suite hotel room located in the external stable block and all are comfortably furnished and homely. The heart and soul of the hotel remains the pub itself and we are sure you will enjoy our friendly bar and quality food service

Welton sits on the Yorkshire Wold Way taking you into the Wolds, with miles of walks and cycle rides through unspoilt countryside and pretty villages. In the near vicinity are stately homes, gardens and castles for exploring and Hull is nearby if you desire the bright lights of the big city. The historic market town of Beverley also provides a good day out with its cobbled streets and boutique shops and the beautiful Minster and St Mary’s Church rising impressively in the skyline.
